The Moorland
THE MOORLAND
Darkness
deepens.
The
day is being woven
Between
the black and white threads.
From
time immemorial,
The
restless wind emerges and blows
Out
of the ancestral graves.
By
the tongues of the leaves
Death
murmurs:
‘Life
drops and splits like a tear,
Down
the moorland where the devil vultures
Flutter
with blade-like wings.
Everyone
is betrayed in their sleep
By
the dream that makes us smile
Yet
leads into the blackhole of death.
The
world overflows with funeral songs,
Each soul sings a dirge in the tomb.
After
the violent fight with the shadows,
We
yield with a scream
Echoing
from clouds and hills.
It
is our dreams that burn on every pyre,
Hope
itself is buried in this battlefield,
The
graveyard of the lost.

GIANTS IN THE DREAMS
Everytime, I was with a thought,
Why these giants
haunted my dreams
Of the tall tree-forest,
our summer home,
Of the narrow isle
between
both school blocks...
'Why did you always sit
On my favorite
mango-bough,
On the beach cliff,
On the grassy edge of our
silver brook?'
Giants really were on
waiting;
Waiting on the single foot
To trespass into my sleepy eyes,
and to place dominion at my dreamy skies.
No matter
how mother's tales
glorified their
innocence,
The gigantic figures kept
scaring on.
'Oh mother, mesmeric
story teller,
Don't say any tale!,' I
begged,
'with giants involved...'
But no night passed
without them.
Mercilessly
haunted,
My all childhood they
chased
And released me when it was over.
'Now as I have been at the grim smoke
of the terrible dreams of adulthood,
I smell your absence.
You designed my fantasy
once,
And whispered strange
fables in ear,
Unsearched and untold.
Sleepless, on the bed, with opened eyes
Hope your marvelous
return,
Kind beloved little
giants!'

The Master and the Trumpet
The Master and the Trumpet
I was a trained
parrot and I sang,
'He made me a trumpet
Only to get his
worship blown,
To get others
blamed.'
My melody was thrown
so high
That could reach to
the farthest frontier,
Thus I created his
aura.
His name adorned mounts
and valleys;
All got filled with respect to him
And the trumpet
echoed on the hearts.
Once I changed my
dull tune;
Thence he was turned down
by the storm.
Its flame also turned
my compass.
'I was a trained
parrot,'
In middle of the
storm I stood and sang,
'He made me a mere
trumpet'
And the trumpet blew
him to burst!!!

Where is the Promise not Brutally Killed?
Every drop parts and rains
Along with the broken promise of the sun.
The thunder threatens the world of sleep
Where children dream with their mother's fancy.
The lamp's dead cotton sits lost in thoughts
Only to peep again with blazing eyes.
You, my love, also forgot me .
Who rules the kingdom of destruction ?
When the light withdrew from the lamp's lips,
I sat and counted promises of the day.
Who keeps his words precious for ever..?
Where is the promise not brutally killed...?

An Essay on Necessity of Protecting Nature
A STEP FOR THE NATURE
Nature is the earth and our home. If we don't protect our home we will eventually lose it. When we are protecting nature,it's being preserved forgenerations to come. Protecting nature keeps the ecosystems in balance. More we cut down rain forest, less rain falls the once very green area turns into a desert
The development of human along with the increasing demand of human being has led to disappearance of important natural resources from many parts of the world. One of the most precious natural resources shrinking at an alarming rates are our forests. Due to the importance of the woods to human as well as wild beings the protection of forests needs to be taken into consideration as soon as possiblet
To begin with, it cannot be denied that forests play an essential role in protecting us from environmental disasters. It can be seen that re cently in many corners of the world , due to the disappearance of the forests, people are having to suffer from climate change and other natural calamities as flood, drought..etc.The decrease of woods by deforestation becomes ominous towards human life all over the world.
In addition, forests bring to human life many benefits in terms of both material and healthy. Forests can be considered as a green lung of the earth which helps to make the climate equable and provide human with a huge amount of oxygen. As well people find forest as an indispensable natural resource. Annually a millions ton of woods are exploited from forests in order to produce furniture. However, if people just focus on exploiting without having any plans of preserving and regenerating forests, sooner ot later, these valuable resources will become exhausted. We cannot imagine how terrible it is if some day in the future we have to live without any forest.
Natural resources are being debilitated by senseless activities and exploitation of human beings. To protect nature peat products- we can make our own compost for free and use it in our garden. We can buy organic foods. No artificial fertilisers or pesticides are used in production, preventing them from contaminating habitats and entering the food-chain.
The most terrible crisis that the world faces today is threatening of global warming. Arctic ice-cap is melting and in many countries heat scorches lands and fields and turn them into deserts. Unwise deforestation by human and spread of motor vehicles, factories and other carbon emitting machines are the greatest cause of promoting global warming in this way. The result of all these kinds of modern technology is terrible attack of climate change.
So to avoid climate change, we have to take an effort against it together. Afforestation can greatly help us. On a great account we have to change our lifestyle. We have to avoid carbon emitting machines. And try to innovate modern engineering and technology that support us our fight against these coming natural calamities. By adopting an organic life among us we can avoid all kinds of pollutions threatening water, air, land, sound. As far we can experience and see in every city, no need to mention to anyone that all parts of the world are under these pollutions. Besides we are facing a new kind of pollution in the modern world, that is pollution of radiation. By the spread of communication devices using radiation this pollution reached its peak. It badly affects productivity of animals and birds. It disasters the regenerating systems of all beings including human.
To cure this great illness affected to our Mother Earth we shall take a common pledge. Climate change affects everyone, so it should be solved by everybody. Moreover, there are many species extincted and many are under the threat of extinction from the surface of our Mother Earth. So for everyone's security we must take a collective decision to change the distructive course of history. Unless we take a decisive action against this crisis all of us will be certainly extincted and disappeared soon.
